Emmerdale came into my radar in 2002 the minute I started watching the show I didn't know if I should laugh, cry, be mad or turn my face away so no one could see the mixed emotions that washed over me when first tuned into it on CBC.
The women on this show do not tote guns, they do not fight mob bosses lol or jump off buildings but they are the normal everyday Yorkshire lasses who are just living their lives.
They have typical every day jobs, they take care of their kids , fight and make up with their men so many times you tend to lose count ..... but if anyone dare try to rain on their parade .... venture onto their territory you are due for a shake down the whole village will hear ...... No one and I mean no one can stop these girls once they are in full pitbull bitch mode , but if you break her heart oh no these girls don't waste any time crying lol they will not only come out fighting they will plot against the man they love to prove a point and then win him back again.
Everyone in Beckindale knows them by name and by face because The Dingle girls, Nicola King and Kelly Windsor come from a small village where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows everyone else's business.
Nicola King is one of the girls that I absolutely can not stand but she deserves to have some kudos paid to her lol... Nicola faked a pregnancy to marry her boyfriend Carlos then found out that her sister was having an affair with him ... upon this shocking news Nicola and her sister wound up in a cat fight right outside the church.
The Dingle girls are rough and tough but they have hearts of gold so you better watch it or you might get a slap, get punched or even your hair pulled and they don't care if you are a man or a woman they come out swinging.

but I love her devious nature.
Kelly will lie cheat and manipulate the men in her lives to get whatever the hell she wants, and she was the demon child to her step mom Viv. Everyone in the village knows Kelly's a girl on the make and she will use her feminine wyles to do so.
Sadly CBC stopped airing it and then Vision tv brought it on then swiftly took it away again.
Nine years later I am still loving this show doesn't matter whether I catch it on the internet to get latest episodes from the uk or have a gossip about it with my friends there is one thing for sure .... Emmerdale's Bad ass bitches make you come back for more.
